Entering Contests and Choosing and Contacting Winners – Entry Rules

1. Eligibility: The FurnitureModern.com Blog Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of date of entry. Employees and their immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling, child and respective spouses) and those living in the same households, whether or not related, of Sponsor, and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Void where prohibited. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

 
2. How to Enter: Between 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time of the published “Start Date” on the website you can enter by registering and writing a blog. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on the published “End Date” to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person for the each Entry Period. Only one entry per registration will be considered for contest entry, no person may enter any contest more than once using multiple email addresses. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means are void and the participant is disqualified from winning any prizes. All entries become the property of FurnitureModern.com.

Entrants must register using the correct contest entry email address, subject line, and any other specific entry information requested in the contest announcement. FurnitureModern.com  is not responsible for and will not consider incomplete or incorrect entries or emails sent but not received by FurnitureModern.com for any reason, as potential contest winners. 

 
3. Disqualification: We collect information upon your entry for validation purposes. If an applicant submits more than one entry, that entrant will be banned from entering any FurnitureModern.com giveaway in the following 180 days.

4. Writing Contest: Entrants must write a blog entry of at least 150 words briefly reviewing the FurnitureModern.com website or writing about the furniture on the FurnitureModern.com website with a link to http://www.furnituremodern.com.  Entrants are limited to one entry. The entry must be a blog post on a unique website address.  Winners will be chosen at random from registrations received within 10 days after the posted “end date.” FurnitureModern.com reserves the right to disqualify any entries received for any reason.
 

5. Drawings: Winners of all contests will be contacted at the “sender” email address used to enter the contest, and the person receiving and replying to the winner announcement email will be considered the winner unless they specify another person within the reply email as the winner. FurnitureModern.com will mail the contest prize to the address supplied by the recipient during the registration process.

Claiming of prizes requires an email response to FurnitureModern.com from the winning sender email address within 10 days of being notified of winning at the email address used to enter. Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize. FurnitureModern.com is not required to award elsewhere any prizes forfeited by the chosen winner(s).

 
6. Submission of photo, text or other content for Contests: Winners may be asked to submit a photo of themselves with their wining item and a brief summary of their blog upon receiving their prize. While we do not oblige you to send us your photo, we kindly ask you to submit it. Any submitted photos, text, or other content will become the property of FurnitureModern.com and maybe used for promotional purposes.

By submitting any photo or information to FurnitureModern.com, you hereby grant to FurnitureModern.com and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees and assigns, an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish and otherwise make use of the submitted photo or other information in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter created, throughout the world and for any purpose. In addition to other things, the rights granted to FurnitureModern.com includes but is not limited to the right to resize, crop, censor, compress, edit, feature, caption, affix logos to, and to otherwise alter or make use of the submitted photo;

By submitting any photo or information to FurnitureModern.com, you hereby represent and warrant that the submitted photo or information does not and shall not infringe on any copyright, any rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party, and you have the right to grant any and all rights and licenses granted to FurnitureModern.com herein, including but not limited to all necessary rights under copyright, free and clear of any claims or encumbrances;

You acknowledge and agree that FurnitureModern.com shall have no obligation to post, display or otherwise make publicly available any photo or information submitted by you, and may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, remove, edit, modify or delete any photo or information that you submit to FurnitureModern.com.

You understand and intend that any photo or information submitted by you to FurnitureModern.com may be available for viewing, rating, review and comment on by the public, and understand that comments or ratings with which you disagree or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with any photo or information you submit to FurnitureModern.com. By submitting any photo or information to FurnitureModern.com, you hereby waive any privacy expectations that you may have with respect to any such photo or information submitted by you to FurnitureModern.com.

You hereby agree to hold FurnitureModern.com and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees sponsors and assigns harmless from and against, and hereby waive any right to pursue, any claims of any nature arising in connection with the inclusion in, publication via or display on any FurnitureModern.com site, or any other use authorized under these Terms, of any photo or information submitted to FurnitureModern.com by you.

Photos or information submitted by you to the Site shall be the property of FurnitureModern.com, and FurnitureModern.com shall have no obligation to preserve, return or otherwise make available to you or others any photos or information so submitted.

 

7. Awarding Prizes: Winners are solely responsible for all taxes and/or fees that may be incurred.  Winners will be contacted by email and will be required to respond with their full name and mailing address (where prize will be shipped) within 10 days. Winner may forfeit any and all winnings if verification cannot or has not been made within 10 days. Upon proper verification, prize will be mailed to winner's mailing address within seven (7) business days.

Each prize winner must supply FurnitureModern.com with his/her legal name, mailing address, birth date, daytime and nighttime telephone numbers. Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings. All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, and all such additional costs that may be incurred.

Neither FurnitureModern.com, FurnitureModern.com sponsors, nor employees of FurnitureModern.com or sponsors may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of any winners of a prize once possession has been taken of the product by winner. FurnitureModern.com is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with or resulting from any contest promoted by FurnitureModern.com.

If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, FurnitureModern.com may substitute a prize of like or equal value. Management, employees and families of FurnitureModern.com are prohibited from winning any prizes awarded by FurnitureModern.com.

8. Description of Prize: Winners will receive the prizes specified in the contest / sweepstakes page. Monetary funds may be submitted to the winner by check, and electronic equipment may be factory renewed, including shipping to United States addresses only. We reserve the right to substitute a similar prize at our sole discretion.

 

9. Length of Contest: FurnitureModern.com reserves the right to end the contest at any time and for any reason.

 
10. Applicable Law: The contest is automatically void where prohibited by law.
