We will ship or deliver your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method possible. Therefore, we have established strong relationships with some of the best furniture delivery companies nationwide. Every product on our site has been carefully selected to ship by a particular shipping method in order to provide you with an optimal furniture delivery experience. For some of our furniture, unfortunately there are certain areas which we do not service. Some furniture is inherently fragile and we prefer not to take the risk in delivering a damaged product. You may still purchase from us and decide to utilize your own freight company or pick up the furniture yourself.
Once your order ships, we will notify you via email. In most cases, there will be a tracking number for your shipment so you can track your package online or on the phone with the carrier. For any local in-home furniture deliveries, or white glove deliveries, we will contact you via phone to confirm the delivery.
We have four methods of shipment available: Small Parcel, Truck Freight and two White Glove services that fall under our In-Home Delivery Guidelines.

OUR IN-HOME FURNITURE DELIVERY AREAS INCLUDE:

We offer two types of In-Home-Delivery
• White Glove Preferred Delivery
• Standard Home Delivery
White Glove Preferred Delivery (In-Home Delivery)
Our standard in-home-delivery service provides you with a two-man delivery crew, to the inside of your residence and to the room you choose. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights contact us. The product will be left in the original packaging. This service is generally only available in Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and Monroe Counties. |

Please note the following on white glove deliveries: You must inspect the product when utilizing this service. You will be asked to sign the documentation, indicating that you received the furniture in good condition. If there is any damage to the product please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This will allow you to file a claim and get the merchandise repaired or replaced.
If the merchandise is not damaged, you will have to sign that you received the merchandise in good condition, and we will not honor any additional claims. Please note that this statement supersedes and overrides any other stipulation, warranties or provisions in all of our policies.
Assembly - Set up as part of our White Glove Preferred Delivery
We only provide assembly on furniture when utilizing
our preferred white glove delivery service. Unless you utilize this service, assembly is entirely your responsibility and we take no responsibility for any damage to the furniture, done by incorrect assembly. Please
contact us if you need a professional to assist you in the assembly of your furniture.
Standard Delivery (In-Home Delivery)
Our standard white glove delivery service provides you with a two-man delivery crew, to the inside of your residence and to the room you choose. REGULAR FREIGHT & PARCEL
Truck Freight
In home delivery is not available in all areas. In those cases, the best option is to ship it to you using a common carrier. Truck freight is different than in-home delivery in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going). Truck Freight also differs from Small Parcel in that, for residential deliveries, you will be contacted by the shipping carrier to schedule a delivery appointment.
You must inspect the package(s) at the time of delivery. If any boxes have any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. If the damage is severe, refuse the shipment and note it accordingly on the Bill of Lading. If a damage occurred, please contact us immediately at 1.888.699.6613. Small Parcel
Whenever possible we will ship smaller, lighter items via UPS, FEDEX, DHL or USPS. These companies provide the fastest and most reliable method of shipping available for many items we sell. Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your item will arrive between 1 and 6 business days (1 to 10 business days for USPS) after it leaves the warehouse.
CUSTOMER PICK-UP / UTILIZING YOUR OWN FREIGHT COMPANY
In some instance you may choose to pick up your own merchandise at our warehouse, or you may want to utilize your own freight or delivery company to ship your merchandise. Utilizing this option, we charge a flat fee of $10.00 inspect your product and make it available for pick up by you or the freight company.
We will have the merchandise opened for you for inspection and will re-seal it as soon as the inspection is complete. Once the merchandise has been inspected by you or the freight company, we will not exchange any merchandise, nor will we issue any refunds or cancellations as you inspected the merchandise, and received such in good order and condition.
Small Parcel

When Will My Order Arrive?
Every product on our site has an estimated Lead Time - the number of business days it takes for an item to be processed and prepared for shipment at the warehouse; each lead time varies based on many different factors. We indicate lead times to you during the purchasing process.
Free Shipping
We generally do not provide free shipping. The truth of the matter is that companies that provide free shipping usually built the freight into the price. Furniture Modern does not do this since we offer several different shipping options; furthermore, many of our customers pick up their own merchandise and want the lowest possible price.
Returns
All orders fall under our Standard Return Policy.
